Surf, skate & movement

Skating, surfing, movement, and art have a unique way of bringing people together creating unforgettable experiences and lifelong friendships. All around us, there are unexplored local spots just waiting to be discovered and shared with other curious souls.

We’re building a platform to connect locals with people who want to see more, play more, and truly explore life.

Our mission is to make each experience deeply rooted in the local environment, with a warm, supportive vibe that helps you feel good, let go, and throw yourself into new crafts and skills.

There’s a whole team here to support your journey every step of the way.

Surf is up!

Surfing is more than just a sport, it’s a way of life. It inspires a more fluid, laid back approach to living that many people long for, and this mindset is deeply embedded in the experience of riding waves.

With one of Aldan Collective’s co-founders being a former professional surfer, surfing is a core part of who we are. It’s one of the main ways we hope to inspire and connect people, inviting others to join us on this journey.

Part of our team is rooted in Jamaica, a place full of untapped surf potential. The island offers waves for every level from beginners to experts and best of all, you’ll often find empty lineups. Yes, it’s as dreamy as it sounds.

Jamaica is still under the radar in the global surf scene, but we see its magic, and we want to share it with the Aldan Collective community.

Skating Is for everyone!

Skating is often seen as defying gravity flying through the air with style and confidence. And while that’s part of the magic, skating is so much more than tricks. It’s a lifestyle, a community, and above all, pure fun.

Skating is truly for everyone. Although the scene has traditionally been male-dominated, we’re proud to be part of a growing movement of women carving out space in skate culture. We collaborate with inspiring groups of skaters who are proving that no matter your age or background, you can learn, grow, and ride with confidence.

Our founder, Katrin, started skating at the age of 28 right in the heart of Jamaica. With the support of the local community, her journey began at Freedom Skatepark, a place that has become a powerful foundation for both beginners and pros. That welcoming, encouraging environment made it possible not only for her to thrive, but for many others to find their way onto a board and into the skate world.

Skating comes in many styles and forms, and we celebrate every single one of them. Through Aldan Collective, we aim to create a platform where people at any level can come together, explore new skate scenes, share experiences, and ride together.
